Stockholm is one of the leading cities in the world when it comes to public transport. The Swedish capital provided a perfect setting for the 55th General Meeting of EMTA, held on 15-17 April. The meeting was hosted by our wonderful colleagues from SL, the public transport authority for Stockholm county.
The thematical focus of the meeting was on transport service contracting, a special area of expertise of SL, and autonomous vehicles. In total, 41 participants from 21 different public transport authorities attended.
The next General Meeting of EMTA will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 21-23 October 2026.
