Erik Norling, the CEO of SL in Stockholm, was unanimously appointed as the new EMTA President for a two-year term in the association’s General Meeting in London on 10 October 2025. Mr Norling started at SL in 2021, when he was appointed Director of Traffic. He took on the role of CEO in April 2025.
