Joint Stakeholder Statement on the Urban Mobility Framework

Joint Stakeholder Statement on the Urban Mobility Framework

Joint stakeholders sent EU dignitaries a Joint stakeholder statement regarding the upcoming Urban Mobility Framework.

In the statement, we call on the Commission to place active mobility and public transport at the heart of the Urban Mobility Framework. For the coalition, it is clear that affordable and attractive public transport and active mobility (walking and cycling) are key to achieve the EU’s climate targets, renew economic growth and improve quality of life in cities.

UITP sent out the joint statement to the following contacts on 23 September.

EMTA has been one of the thirteen co-signatories.
